Thank you for supporting me at the 2019 Skechers Performance LA Marathon & Charity Challenge and giving the gift of Camp to children with serious medical conditions and their families for FREE!

Those who know camp, know happiness. At The Painted Turtle, children with serious medical conditions and their families meet new friends and connect with other families in a fun and supportive environment, while enjoying activities like swimming, archery, fishing, ropes course, horseback riding, arts and crafts, and more! As a part of the SeriousFun Children's Network, founded by Paul Newman, The Painted Turtle has impacted more than 55,000 children and their family members since 2004. 

This year, Jeff and I welcomed a little turtle to our bale, Baby Malia! Malia experienced the  happiness of camp for the first time at four weeks old and we are humbled by the love she receives from our Turtle family - the same tender care that gives our campers such a life-changing experience. I thought it fitting to combine my goal of getting back into running while raising awareness and funds for the campers and the place that is nearest and dearest to my heart.
